They Forgot to Order the Uniforms

 

   There is absolutely no doubt about it with 47 ... this is genocide.  It is a calculated, methodical, deliberate, and protracted genocide.  The brown shirts are missing.. but the desire to invade and take over countries and and an entire continent is present.   The silly convoluted  emblems are missing but the mocking and denigration of others who believe differently and the calling for treasonous charges against those who respond in kind is present.  

   Like Germany of ninety years ago, the masses, because they feel like they've been left out or cast aside, have rallied around their messiah, the bible as a prop snake oil salesman, and have anointed him with their oil.  But they haven't been left out or cast aside, it's simply that others, all others, have been invited to the party of equal access, when it was formerly a trove of white male elite exclusivity.  If said messiah has to step into the much to insure his place, he'll do it.  When he is done using them, and he will be, he will cast them aside, label them as he normally does and abandon them for greener pastures.  Ask how many contractors have been paid for his personal projects.  Fellas you've not been left out, it's just that others have been invited in!

   There is talk of camps for migrants, after all they built the cage filled ghettos along the border to separate and contain them.  There is talk of muzzling the press.  There is all sorts of talk akin to throughout this four year long putsch.  

   Yes, this is a calculated, well planned, protracted genocide; only they forgot to order the uniforms.

Stained Glass Windows

    Centuries ago, stained glass windows were created to educate the masses about historical religious beliefs. Then, monks and others got the very bright idea, seriously, to simply teach people .. teach them to read, to calculate, to reason, to think critically, etc.. Thus it all began.  Suddenly, people could find out facts vs fiction, truth vs deception, and just where they could grow, go, and be.  Centuries later, many it seems want to return to the stained glass window days and instruct folks what to think, what to believe, who to trust and not trust.  After all, if folks can think and read, reason and figure out things for themselves.. they might just see that they are dealing with the proverbial wolf in white sheep clothing. 

    Think about it.. why put restrictions on literacy?  Not simply literacy in terms of reading and comprehension but financial literacy, historical literacy, among others.  Why turn the protagonists into easily disillusioned lemmings? I'll tell you why, it sells books, it creates a market for unprecedented financial growth for an elite few.  It creates a chasm and chaste system.  It fills someone's pockets.. follow the money!  Who seeks to gain and benefit? 

    I really to not worry about it, but how can I not, when rhetoric is akin to 'taking over' other countries! We are no longer imperialist, I hope.  There should be no more manifest destiny.. east or west, north or south.  Taking over or invading another country??

PAYBACK

     I have finally figured out what all this embracing of Donald Trump and his ideology is.. it is payback, it is a form of Karma.  But it is not the latter from fate or the former from justice that comes in time. Rather, it is from the actions of man against the perceived grievous wrong of taking the WASP male off his throne of superiority, emasculating him publicly, and daring to accord others equal access and opportunity.   This my friends is vengeful payback; a decidedly malicious revenge for: Civil Rights Laws, the Voting Rights Act, the Women's Movement, the Americans' with Disabilities Act, Human Rights movements of all kinds, Social Security and Medicare, and calling to task those in congress who've used  SS and Medicare for their pork piggy bank for decades. Most especially it is payback for daring to support, elect, and celebrate an African American man to the position of Commander in Chief; not to mention doing it twice!

    The embracing of Donald Trump and his ideology.  Look how many in the Republican party thrashed him in debates, in public forums, behind closed doors, at dais podiums, and whatever television pundit hour would have them, only to now come forward to support, buoy, and champion him.  There can be only reason.. payback.  They are willing to cast aside and whitewash his boasting about being able to grab the crotch of their wives, daughters, mothers, and sisters and they are okay with this.  If President Obama had broached even an inkling of that, well, I don't have to say how those in the red states would want to respond.  If President Obama had grabbed a bible and used it as a publicity prop, they would have gone after him even more.. and rightly so.  

    It's not so much that women and African Americans have the right to vote that is an issue, it is that they exercise it. It is not so much that women want equal pay, it's that they have dared to think and move beyond their stereotypical setting. Admittedly, and in an effort to not totally bail our the women's movement, but had they not ostracized and conveyed animus towards the homemakers they'd have gotten a lot further and faster.  

     If working stiffs don't pay their bills, these very same supporters want to foreclose, publicly admonish, arrest, convict and imprison. If Donald Trump does it, they want to elect him.  Perhaps they believe his access, power, and presumed wealth will trickle down (trickle down doesn't work, for it is contingent on the benevolence and conscientiousness of others).  If you try to assist the working individuals in any way, it is socialism. If you want to assist the chosen candidates in any way, it is called a donation.  Why can't working folks stand on their own, some may wonder, but that bodes the question of why can't those running for office stand on THEIR own ? 

    Yes, it is payback folks.. It is WASP induced "karma" for daring to remove from the throne, those who feel they are ordained by God to be in that role.  Funny isn't in, the very bible they tout talks of equality, justice, mercy, compassion, respect etc..  Beware of the money changers in the temple they are choosing to elect Herod, because they will be invited to the party where all others will serve them.

Failure to Remember - Condemned to Relive

   Do folks honestly choose to NOT remember the man who boasted of being able to grab p***y of anyone he wanted because  he is a "celebrity" ? What if he were bragging about having been able to do this to your mother, wife, sister, daughter, or friends? So many things can be put under his paranoid egocentric narcissism; frankly, making Richard Nixon's own paranoia look almost palatable and acceptable.  Why are the utterings of the latter mentioned individual not being broadcast like seeds on fertile soil? 

   Do we really want someone occupying the oval office who uses Christ as a marketing ploy and the faith and fears of millions as his be all end all road to earthly glory? George Washington who decried anything related to being named King... would be appalled and he had his own set of historical problems and issues. 

    There is so much to abhor here, but we cannot vote on fear. We must hold steadfast to the tenets of our American ideals, aspirations, and liberty.  Do you really want someone to deny liberty to others while we bask in it's glory? Don forget that things of this nature love karma and karma loves it; this is a dish will be served bitterly cold and wholly indigestible. 

  I am a registered independent.  I am not a party platform person; I am a human being who looks for the humanity in others, before I cast my vote.  I look at their history of outreach towards others, the cura personalis, so to speak (Jesuit leaning, here). If I don't see it by example and history ... my check mark by their name is forever lost.  

  Politics is a dirty business; it used to be a worthy avocation (never meant to be a profession). But even this, boasting of being able to physically assault anyone he chooses, is well beyond dirty or at the very least totally redefines 'dirty'.

IMBECILES AND MILLSTONES

    I never ceased to be amazed.  You'd think at nearly six decades on this planet, I'd have proverbially 'seen it all.' But I am amazed.  I am stymied and perplexed and yet, I'm not.   It's a sort of perverse dichotomy to be amazed and surprised and conversely the exact opposite.  Why, you may wonder.  Read on MacDuff, read on. 

    The state of Mississippi, along with a whole host of others, have rejected an upcoming summer food program proposed and set up by the federal administration, a program that WILL FEED MILLIONS of children! Why, are they rejecting this... there is but one reason (albeit with several addendums); it's democrat sponsored.  Never mind that children, brutally hungry children, will be nourished and provided with physical sustenance, which also aids them mentally and helps to keep the bodies functioning.  The fact is, to give the administration a "win" of this magnitude is diametrically in opposition to maintaining party platform and stance.  It does not serve the American people, it does not serve the ideology and tenets of American values.  It serves only one and it isn't the Lord I've been taught to pray to and follow in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John.  Tell me, are you so against this because it is from Joe Biden's administration, because he is a democrat, or because he is a Catholic ?  Perhaps all three? 

    How can anyone claim to be a Christian and be against feeding the hungry ??  How can one claim to be Christian and be against helping their fellow man.  How can you go into a church or open the Good Book and breeze past the red letter words of Christ? That's rhetorical, by the way, I know how and why it happens.  We're dealing with selfish self-centered imbeciles. 

    In doing these things, you are teaching children to ignore and turn a blind eye to suffering.  You are teaching children to be devoid of mercy. You are teaching children not to be good Samaritans but rather to be vain proselytizers that walk on by.  Who the heck gives a rat's ass who gets credit?? Do you honestly think God will ask you if you were a republican or democrat?  Won't he simply ask, "and how well did you love and keep my commandments to love me as you love one another, as I have loved you."

    If it walks like a goat, brays like a goat, and shits like a goat....it certainly isn't a sheep.  Line up to be fitted for your millstone. 

The Vindication of the Press.

 In my early teens, 1973 to be exact, the Watergate hearings commenced. I was amazed and flabbergasted that this had occurred within the government of the land I call home.  I was mesmerized by the questioning and flummoxed by the answers and replies of those called before the committee.  This was in the days of not only statesmanship, but having to account for your actions, if in your political career you exhibited less than that and most especially, if you were a crook playing a con upon the American people whose sacred trust was violated.  

I have been drawn back into the mindset that I had at that time by a recent replaying of the film, "All the President's Men."  Taking that story two other steps further I also watched "the Post" and "Mark Felt, The Man Who Brought Down the White House." I wanted to see various points of the same geometric equation; point A to point B to point C.  

The demonization of the press, in those days, became paramount in order to continue the ruse that was going on.  In order for the success of the dastardly acts that not only threatened the democracy of our republic but the institutions designed to protect it it, the press, in their discoveries had be made to appear as though they were something obtuse and their hypotheses half baked.  It almost succeeded and if it had it would have undermined and sabotaged the first and foremost bill of right; freedom.

Similar has happened in times past, 1930s Germany for example .. as well as in France, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Austria and it has happened since, in early 2000s.  The press has been demonized and yet, at times, some have sold their soul and capitulated in order to allow for the destruction of their fellow journalists... not to sell papers, but to have a seat at the table of paranoid narcissism, putting "me" first, instead of serving the public that as journalists, reporters have signed on to do. 

Don't get me wrong, of course their is muckraking going on. There is a slew of yellow journalism and that hasn't changed in over a hundred years. But happened in the 1900s, in the later 1900s and even now in the 2000s, is different and multiheaded dragon has been reawakened and we are all in jeopardy because of it.

Thankfully, we do have a few who have stood up to say enough baloney, it is time to come to terms with the furrow we've created and the seed that was sown.  Perhaps, in my lifetime, more will do the same and bail out our most fundamental freedoms; thought, assembly, faith, and the press.

A Razzle Dazzle Play Upon America

     He did it; well, almost, that is. He worked and played into countless hands so as to get a grip and tight hold.  To be able to reach between the legs and grab whatever he could so as to control and bring to her knees, not just America the country, but her valued, prized, and enviable institution of democracy, however imperfect the actual practice of her may be. He didn't storm in like a rabid bear but rather like a cub, a seemingly playful and harmless bear cub, all while lying in wait, growing with resentment, building up bitterness, and learning how to appeal to the baseness in many. His machinations, buoyed by political greed and narcissism, became the perfect inroad into the attempted destruction of America.    I'm not talking about Donald Trump, although - keep reading.  I am talking about Vladimir Putin and the play he has authored about oligarchy and plutocratic revenge for Americas having sown seeds of dissention among the soviet peoples; creating dissention and sowing his own seeds of division and disharmony knowing that the lesser of our angels would seize upon.it, exploit it and use it for their own financial gain. Enter Donald Trump ... stage right.  Let us set and block the first act, join me on this journey.  

Who among us could be called quite banal and base in business, in financial interests and investments. Who appears as though he would sell out his own family members, mistresses etc, simply to advance and be larger than life...ah... Donald Trump.  Ok, lets give him some business here in the mother country, get to his 'heart', so to speak, appeal to his wallet. We'll give him what he wants in business and in recreation and he will usher us into America, and it will be on a red carpet too, no doubt.  

Onto the second act ... let us give our people a bit more leisure pursuits, the western world's rock and roll, fast food, and soda pop. Let's encourage our citizens to take part in western democracies escapist luxuries of movies, television, and sports. America will see us as lightening up , more open to 'her ways', and voila... we're in.

And the reaction will be passionate

So what is the third act? When does the protagonist get to show his true cards?  Remember the end of the first act? "Enter Donald Trump." Playing to our weaknesses and failings, he enlisted Mr Trump to be his trumpeter, heralding in subversion, distrust, and political polarization ..even paying for it, as necessary.  I can see the hallmarks of an attempted coup clearly. And while the chief instigator truly was reality star, Donald Trump, he is merely a pawn, a patsy, a stooge, a minion in Vladimir Putin's well planned play to let America and democracy destroy itself. And the donald will get to believe he is an unassailable monarch But the king, has no clothes. 

Give 'em the old three ring circus

And you've got a romance

The grand finale, so to speak, of the great play upon America is the assault upon the US Capital, democracy's Pearl Harbor with Trump playing the role of Tojo. With Putin being a student of history, I'm rather surprised... for all he has done is to awaken a sleeping giant. Oh and by the way, I'm not absolving Trump... far from it. I'm merely hypothesizing that while he is truly guilty in all of this years long tragedy, starting with joining birtherism. Just as he flimflammed so many and in disastrously reprehensible ways and for his own selfish interests,  he too was being played.
