IMBECILES AND MILLSTONES

    I never ceased to be amazed.  You'd think at nearly six decades on this planet, I'd have proverbially 'seen it all.' But I am amazed.  I am stymied and perplexed and yet, I'm not.   It's a sort of perverse dichotomy to be amazed and surprised and conversely the exact opposite.  Why, you may wonder.  Read on MacDuff, read on. 

    The state of Mississippi, along with a whole host of others, have rejected an upcoming summer food program proposed and set up by the federal administration, a program that WILL FEED MILLIONS of children! Why, are they rejecting this... there is but one reason (albeit with several addendums); it's democrat sponsored.  Never mind that children, brutally hungry children, will be nourished and provided with physical sustenance, which also aids them mentally and helps to keep the bodies functioning.  The fact is, to give the administration a "win" of this magnitude is diametrically in opposition to maintaining party platform and stance.  It does not serve the American people, it does not serve the ideology and tenets of American values.  It serves only one and it isn't the Lord I've been taught to pray to and follow in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John.  Tell me, are you so against this because it is from Joe Biden's administration, because he is a democrat, or because he is a Catholic ?  Perhaps all three? 

    How can anyone claim to be a Christian and be against feeding the hungry ??  How can one claim to be Christian and be against helping their fellow man.  How can you go into a church or open the Good Book and breeze past the red letter words of Christ? That's rhetorical, by the way, I know how and why it happens.  We're dealing with selfish self-centered imbeciles. 

    In doing these things, you are teaching children to ignore and turn a blind eye to suffering.  You are teaching children to be devoid of mercy. You are teaching children not to be good Samaritans but rather to be vain proselytizers that walk on by.  Who the heck gives a rat's ass who gets credit?? Do you honestly think God will ask you if you were a republican or democrat?  Won't he simply ask, "and how well did you love and keep my commandments to love me as you love one another, as I have loved you."

    If it walks like a goat, brays like a goat, and shits like a goat....it certainly isn't a sheep.  Line up to be fitted for your millstone.
